Outback Steakhouse is running a holiday deal–buy $100 worth of gift cards, and then get a free $20 bonus card for yourself. Of course, you don’t have to buy the gift cards for your friends; you can always buy them for yourself if you like to dine out at Outback and want to save money by buying the gift cards in advance like this. (If you spend $100 to buy $120 worth of gift cards, you are saving 16% off every time you eat out with the gift cards.)

You can also buy the gift card and resell it online to turn it into extra cash, if that’s your preference. I did that last year – bought gift cards when the store offered a promotion of buy $50, get $10 free. I resold the $50 gift card for nearly full value and got the $10 nearly for free.
Of course, if your family would go to Outback or other restaurants running this type of promotion, you can use it to get a deal on your meals, too. 🙂
I am not an outback customer, however $20 bonus is a nice thing. I may get together and buy it with friends.
You know, we just don’t seem to get the same kinds of deals that you can in the states. There seems to be a slow shift these days with increased online competition, but I guess it comes down to numbers in the end and we really don’t have that big of a population.
This is an okay deal… I think you can get better deals at restaurant.com. Too bad they do not carry outback steakhouse.
I was just thinking about going there this week! Thanks for the heads up 😀
