Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize

This morning the Norwegian Nobel Committee announced that US President Barack Obama would receive the Nobel Peace Prize, “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The Committee has attached special importance to Obama’s vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons.”[More] Congratulations to Obama.

Canadians will be celebrating thanksgiving this weekend, while most of our American friends will also enjoy a long weekend due to Columbus day.
