The Best of Procrastination Quotes – Share Yours

by Ray on November 9, 2009

Procrastination is one of my biggest weaknesses; I spend a lot of time thinking of what to do and not enough time doing what I need to do. To some extent we all procrastinate, although some do so more than others. Putting things off till last minute seems to be the new culture unfortunately. When it comes to finances procrastination can end up costing you in the long run, paying your bills too late can cost you late fees, paying your credit card later will cost you interest fees, procrastinating with investments can cost you compounding and the list can go on and on. If you are reading this you probably are already procrastinating on something, but here is a compilation of my favorite 31 procrastination quotes, be sure to add yours to the end and don’t procrastinating in tweeting and digging this!

By nature I am the WORST procrastinator. I have to work VERY hard to get myself to be proactive day after day. The thing that helped me the most was when I realized that the sooner I get my “To-do List” for the week done, the more free time I’d have!

Whatever works right! :-)

I can’t think of any new ones off the top of my heads but have sure used these in my head all the time. It’s very easy to put something off for later, tomorrow, whenever out of procrastination or laziness. Sometimes you just have to kick yourself in the ass to get going.

Sorry for the vulgar words but it was really funny.

WOW I just realized that the person above me did the same thing. I feel so stupid for just jumping straight into the Leave a Comment section instead of actually reading the comments.

Procrastination is a lot like masturbation, it’s all fun and games until you realize you’re only screwing yourself.

The first time I heard this was in 1999, when my son (then in high school) said it to me when he heard me saying something to his mother about doing some chore later. Since then I have heard variations of it but so far he is the original.

The problem with being a procrastinator is that I’ll never get around to doing anything about it.

Call me a hard worker, I wait just to make finishing in time a challenge.

I’ll get to it someday… just let me know when it says someday on your calender, ‘cuz I don’t see it on mine.

I would call myself one the worst procrastinators, or would I be the best, hmm… I’ll have to put that paper aside while I try to find out.

Just some i threw together while my research paper is minimized that’s how I do lol(s) (laugh out loud silently)
