Knock, knock, knock. Is this thing on? Yes, we’re still here! It doesn’t seem like it’s been over a year since I last posted at Financial Highway, but it has! A lot of exciting things have been going in the Financial Highway household which have unfortunately taken precedence over writing articles. One of which was the purchase of our first home. While it is very exciting, it really has taken a lot of work with all of the odd jobs around the house to make it ours. As many homeowners can attest, the projects really never end. Now that we’ve added a mortgage payment and subsequently, real estate taxes, it becomes that more important to pay attention to personal finances. Unfortunately, it came at the expense of the blog. But no more!
So with that said, we’re back! We’ll be continuing to provide great content and as before, helping you turning wasted cents into common sense. Not only will we back in business, but I’m very excited to announce that we’ll be working very closely with Tom Drake from MapleMoney. Tom is one of the go to sources when it comes to personal financial matters and it is an honor for him to be a big part of Financial Highway going forward. Welcome to the team, Tom!
