Do you need a college degree? Actually, let’s rephrase that. do you need a college degree to make money? Nope. Do you need to go to school to find a job that you enjoy? Not at all.
There are many jobs that pay well and allow you to enjoy your work, that don’t require you to spend any time in school.
Let’s look at amazing jobs that pay well and don’t require a college degree (a ton of debt):
Real Estate Broker.
You have to take certain courses here and pass a few tests. Getting in isn’t that challenging. The challenge comes in actually making money and becoming excellent at the work. The good news is that if you’re not afraid of work, you can make some decent coin in this field.
Fire Fighter.
Another excellent job that pays well (depending on where you live) and doesn’t require you to spend form years in college. It’s tough to get in because you have to write many tests, pass an interview, and then do a physical test. It took my friend 8 months of consistent hustle to get into this field. When he got in, he instantly fell in love with his job and told me that he can’t imagine doing anything else.
EMT.
There are many EMT jobs out there if you’re thinking about applying. The Bureau of Labor Statistics expects a growth of position by 9% from 2008 to 2018. The median hourly wages of EMTs is at $14.10 (as at May 2008). The EMT salary isn’t the highest, but it’s a job that you can certainly enjoy.
Blogger.
You guys know the deal with blogging. Anyone reading this can become a blogger. The process is fairly simple and I’ll outline it below:
- Pick a topic.
- Buy a domain.
- Get a theme.
- Write amazing content consistently.
- Spread the word.
- Monetize the site.
- Make money.
Will you become a blogger? You don’t have to wait, go to school or pick up any debt to get started.
Consultant.
I’ll let you in on a little secret: there’s no college for consultants. Either you can be a consultant or you can’t. Find a problem to solve, help people solve it, and then promote your services. You don’t have to wait here either. You can turn yourself into a consultant right now?
What are you good at? We all want move sex, money, acceptance, and time. Can you help in one of these ways? If so, then you can become a consultant.
Personal Trainer.
There are many ways to become a Personal Trainer without going to school for four years. I personally took a month long course and earned my license in this field like six years ago. This field is all about results and consistency. Will you help your clients get in shape? You need to deliver results and you’ll excel in this line of work.
