Weekend Round Up- MonaVie Cease and Desist Edition

by Ray on September 18, 2009 · 3 comments

This week has been a fairly busy week for me, did not accomplish much in terms of blogging, but did some other important tasks that needed to be done. Next week I’ll be in New York city for couple of days so if anyone has some suggestions for places to visit leave it in the comments :) .

In other news:

Seems like MonaVie is trying very hard to silence bloggers and shut down the bad press about their product. Lazy Man and Money was recently served with a second cease & desist notice for using monavie in it’s keywords…..what is next do not use my companies name at all? I find the bullying of monavie ridiculous and am all in support of lazy man and money. See this article for more details and spread the news!

If the advice of a UK resident who loves New York means anything, I suggest that if you’re an older culture lover, go to the Frick Museum (it’s near the museum of modern art) for a wonderful glimpse into how the Robber Baron generation of the early 20th Century decked out their homes with stunning and priceless European art.

If you’re clinging onto your youth, head over the water to Williamsburgh in Brooklyn for some of the old ultra-trendy vibe than has now left even the Lower East Side.

Have a good trip! )
