I am not really a fan of Dave Ramsey. I totally object with the debt snowball idea which led us forget the interest rate in paying debt. The longer you prolong a higher interest rate debt the greater the cost you will pay. I mean that is basic logic right? how can you be motivated in paying debt when you know that what you have paid will be overshadowed by loan with higher interest rates?

Good points in the review... But I'd say - Borrow! Don't buy! Your library probably has a copy... so you can try it out first. Also, the Dave Ramsey website has a lot of information on it, available for free. I also recommend the radio show - there used to be some radio stations that would stream the audio live.
